Call of Duty 4 cheating?

I was playing COD4 online and got killed 10 times with randomly thrown grenades and 3 times by sniper in one game. This sounds like cheating to me.


Does it go on in COD4?


Are player numbers made up by Computer controlled ones?



I have the same problem! I've played online for 8 hours and been killed 600 times!


It really irritates me when you hear these big headed scousers on the other end slagging you off! why is it always them as if they rule the game! knobs!


I think some people do use cheats which says a lot about those that use it! losers is one! & the fact they are worse players online than you are!


Also annoying kids singing away,talking shite or being stupid in the back ground or other people's music is also annoying.


Why do kids play anyway they're to young to play this game & they should be at school!




If the enemy has a recon plane and they know the general area where you are they'll throw a grenade, i do it all the time and get kills. And as for the snipers, a lot of people snipe, they find out where your team's respawning and just keep their sights aimed on that position. If they killed you after you respawned then they're just a godd sniper, my cousins a ace shot with snipers in Call of duty: World at War. Otherwise you suck or if you ARE playing on PC they may have been cheating, it's easily hacked on computer but if you were playing on Xbox 360/ PS3 then it wasn't hacked.




If you got killed 3 times by a sniper i doubt it was just spawn camping because sniping is pretty easy ..


but the grenades are likely to be because they know where abouts on the map the other team is spawning (usually the oppsite corner) so all they have to do is lob some in and they are pretty much guarenteed kills.


And i think i might be one of these REALLY good people the others describe haha i am 10th prestiege and tend to get a K/D spread of about 3




yeah, i had the same prob' wen i started playin.


i was getting shot by people i couldnt even see, thought some cheating was going on but realised some people were REALLY good at it. it's a difficult game to pick up online first off but it gets easier once yo know the maps and get some perks.


some people do cheat tho, they use glitches (parts of the map you can get thru so you are outside the play area but can still see you. this is proper cheatin.




There are some crazily good players out there, that know the maps better than their own home streets. I've known players that can tell where you are in maps just by the sounds your player makes in various areas.





It can be frustrating jumping into something new, alongside players like that, but keep at it and you'll get better.
